What kind of homage are you expected to pay exactly? I thought the post was ridiculous, but didn't see the point in commenting on it. But since there now seems to be an interest group behind the issue I must say that imo coug was way off. Was coug miffed because he wasn't paid enough attention to? I thought he had hurt feelings that we didn't all respond in the way coug thought we should- whatever way that is. This isn't a social outreach organization where we are out to help our fellow man- this is a thread where people hang out, discuss things and get to know each other.

I though coug's post was a childish cry against the friendships some of us have here- a feeling of being excluded. When I first came here no one knew me- and CGB and Penni and Janice were very close. I knew I was new and they did NOT know me, so I bided my time and got to know THEM. I didn't whine about not being part of their "group". I didn't suggest that they weren't my good buddies because I hadn't paid them homage. And over time they became my good buddies.

Of course some people aren't really nice enough to be buddies with- but coug has always been pleasant- and I know I've responded to coug- but coug isn't around as much as some of us are. So the coug's "Nail on the Head" post seemed to glance OFF THE WALL to me.
