ImaginOn Investor Relations

ImaginOn Investor Relations Corporate and Investor Information ImaginOn Press Releases ImaginOn News on Audio and Movies Who Are We ImaginOn in the News White Papers - Technology Employment Openings at ImaginOn Mission Statement ImaginOn's objective is to make the Internet easier, more productive and more profitable for our clients.
About Our Company ImaginOn, Inc. (Nasdaq, IMON) is an information technology company comprised of three operating units, ImaginOn.com, iNow, Inc., both in California, and ImaginOn Digital Productions, in Aspen, Colorado. ImaginOn.com is the technology development division, iNow is the Internet services division, and ImaginOn Digital Productions is the advertiser-supported content producer. David Schwartz and Leonard Kain started ImaginOn in 1996 to develop better ways for businesses and consumers to take advantage of the Internet and personal computers. On 20 January 1999, ImaginOn became a public company by completing a merger with California Pro Sports (CALP) in which their shareholders retained 40% ownership of the merged entity, and no Board of Directors representation. All business operations of CALP were discontinued and the name was changed to ImaginOn, Inc.
The basic software technology invented by ImaginOn's founders is the subject of two U.S. patents. ImaginOn technology has two primary functions; authoring media intensive data and playback of media intensive data. On the authoring side, ImaginOn enables automated data collection and organization, manually-guided collection and organization, or a combination of automated and manual operations. Typically, ImaginOn authoring processes are used to create finished knowledge or entertainment content based on vast sources, such as the Internet or existing data warehouses. On the playback side, ImaginOn enables distribution, access and manipulation of interactive high bandwidth content, such as streaming video and Web CDs. ImaginOn focuses on interactivity that goes beyond simple click-throughs. Real-time seamless branching of video, and simultaneous real-time seamless integration of Web data in video, are fundamentally new features created by ImaginOn.
ImaginOn technology is useful across a wide spectrum of business and consumer markets, including electronic commerce, in-service training, research, education, as well as digital interactive TV and home entertainment. All of ImaginOn's software and services are now being integrated into a unique, high-bandwidth, high value added Internet portal, www.IMON.com, designed for business, institutional, and individual power users. IMON.com will be launched on 26 October 1999 at ISPCON in San Jose, California. A Message from David Schwartz, CEO, ImaginOn My new "handle" on the Yahoo finance IMON message board is "David_M_Schwartz". I formerly posted as "IMON_2nd". I do not offer to answer every post addressed to me or comment on every issue since the time that I have available is limited. I do NOT post on any other message board, bulletin board or chatroom.
