dd, if i have not missed anything, and i may have, who ever ends up with the ashanti has, i would have to figure, about 300 tonnes of metal to cover. Ashanti as i've read is short 380 tonnes. The banks and or whomever are not going to continue on as did ashanti with the hedges in place. Sounds about in line with the lending capabilities of the Russians and the Kuwaities combined. What a facinating market to observe as the Fed calls in these administrative favors. Hope that i am correct in my assumptions. paul
