mike, i saw a quote on the gold monitor thread where Mundell called Central Bank selling of gold idiotic ho ho ho 6.40 -6.41 on the long bond - not exactly MTL but it's a step in the right direction. mike

Thanks for your insight. The other thing Mundell proposes is to cap the tax rate at 30 % (i.e. go back to Reagan era) and also cut the cap gain tax. Clearly as you nicely said he wants to go back to surprise-side economics. I hope no ploitician listens what with the current bubble, trade deificit and in-equity between the stinkin' rich and the joe six-pack these policies can be like viagra to the market.
