jhg-I'm not qualified to judge on the question you raised.
But this I know, Tellab's mgt. team is sharp with a far looking outlook on updates,competition,what's needed to be outfront.
Their latest trend is to link fiber-optics with older line egt. that has great capacity and will be right there handling volumes of data and voice as the net,older type connections etc. are ramped up.

I did end up finding out more details to my HDSL2-->TITAN connection. The answer is semi-technical, but the bottom line turns out to be, "No. Not really."

At the time, I was just doing some pure speculation. And I was just hoping there was a connection.<G>
