SouthernEra still has ground near a place called Blue Lake. On the map this should be in the south near Roblin, which curiously enough was where an old prospector claimed to have found diamonds 50 years ago. His name was Paul Urbanovitch. Another prospector from South Africa by the name of Johnny Lee who worked with both Jennings and Fipke staked up or leased up gravel rights in the area and did a deal with Trans Hex. Mag targets on the other side of the border in Saskatchewan have been staked up. (Paul told me that he found diamond near an intersection of two highways, near where he grew up. Paul then prospected in the north but sent these stones to DeBeers in S.A. DeBeers wrote him a letter demanding to know where the stones came from. They later sent an apology and an invitation to discuss his prospect further) The old SouthernEra ground near the dyke at Wekusko Lake lapsed and has been restaked. SouthernEra, Samarakand and Winspear still have the ground (?) where the dyke was located. SE Manitoba nearest center Steinbach where Montello/Kennecott got the government grant to explore for indicator minerals has also seen recent sporadic staking. Three areas (1) Wekusko and Reed Lake (2) Near the town of Roblin, (if I'm at the correct Blue Lake) (3) East of the town of Steinbach. average joe
