rude: If the market is efficient over the long haul, which is arguable, of course, then the strategies and tactics you have alluded to many times over the last year will eventually be reflected in the stock price. The reality, however, is that the shares have lost massive value over the last several months and continue to do so. When a stock is so broken, it takes a very long time to put it back together again. And now CPQ has broken below its long-established base. How much time do you think CPQ has? What do you think rising bond rates will do for CPQ? Where do you think CPQ will be if the market slide resumes? What happens to CPQ in a recession? Markets aside, is CPQ getting maximum impact from the rich growth in Asia now? How long will that Asian growth continue? I am holding a batch of CPQ for the very long haul because I think the franchise may have considerable value; I do not, however, think the break up value of CPQ would provide much of a premium on the stock price at even current depressed levels.
