OT: One advantage of being a stockholder. The deals that we stockholders can get when buying a pc from IBM. They've got a great deal on a Thinkpad i1460.

Abelson is consistently guilty of the worst thing a journalist can do. He attributes comments to subjects, like IBM, that they never made and then he shoots them down. He does it cleverly but viciously. He has been bearish and wrong for years. Being wrong so long is usually terminal for anyone in the market, especially for someone who is supposedly an observer and commentator. The only "experts" he likes are also out of touch bears. He tries to cover up his missing the greatest bull market in the history of mankind by being dishonest and cute at the the same time and telling us what speculative fools we are to follow sleight of hand experts.... not real creators like him of course.
