Nancy, One of my friends sent this to me this morning, and I thought you might enjoy it as well.

Have a Blessed Day, Colleen

PRAYER FOR THE WORKING WOMAN

Lord Jesus, as I enter this work place, I bring your presence with
me. I speak Your peace, Your grace, and Your perfect order into the
atmosphere of this office. I acknowledge Your Lordship over all that
will be spoken, thought, decided, and accomplished within these
walls. Lord Jesus, I thank You for the gifts you have deposited in
me. I do not take them lightly but commit to using them responsibly
and well. Give me a fresh supply of truth and beauty on which to draw
as I do my job. Anoint my creativity, my ideas, my energy, so that
even my smallest task may bring You honor.

Lord, when I am confused, guide me. When I am weary, energize me.
Lord, when I am burned out, infuse me with the light of the Holy
Spirit. May the work that I do and the way I do it, bring hope, life,
and courage to all that come in contact with me today. And, Oh Lord,
even in this day's most stressful moments, may I rest in You. In the
mighty Name that is above all Names, in the Matchless Name of my Lord
and Savior Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Well I was wrong. My two posts are still here. Silly me. Who knew this thing went so fast. They were near the bottom and I stand corrected.

As to Alan Markoff: I'd love to discourse, but please don't even try that Jesus will save your soul stuff on me. Been there done that. Grew up and out of it. Found something real and I'm very happy finally.

As to my question: The generality of the question works just fine. How can you worship a god that kills without mercy? You want scripture references? Try reading about the entire old testimate. There are dozens of examples where "god" ordered the jews to slaughter and take possession. You know this as well as I do. There is no justification for that slaughter. No all knowing all powerfull "god" would resort to such pure human traits.

So how can you worship such a thing?

You make take this as critical or not, its a real question. You could answer like so many with biblical diversion. Or you could do something different and actually answer it. No wait, do something really different and don't quote scripture because I am asking how you personally can reason that out. I mean have YOU (any of you) actually looked that book over and asked yourselves if you really believe it? Or have you just resorted to letting the pastor think for you all your lives?

That brings up my original posts. You guys should step back and look at yourselves sometime. All your arguement (discussion) over words and biblical details is soo ridiculous. Does anybody really want to know what spirituality is really about?

Well?
