Poet: Q-uiet is the name of the game when Q is heading south. I guess it is time to pick it up. The silence is always broken by some sort of shouting later on.

Day, week, month? Who knows? But it usually isn't very long.

Q rocks, it is just a matter of time...

smart, I getting PMs that I have standard response that I have been copying to the PMs. See below.

I have no idea what Q will make for earnings. But from the antidotal evidence I see in the wireless market such as handset growth rate and competitor earning releases I see QCOM beating consensus. Friday reversal was a short term sell signal, we could very well go back down to the lower trend-line 200 range or so, the area to worry about is 195, a break below that on company, sector, market news would be worrisome. The key word is NEWs. I never trade off the chart unless I get news to back it up. So what if I'm late or early, at least I can make an informed move.

I am wondering why you don't do some Jan calls. I just got more. They have gotten very volatile, which is good for a trade, and you have more time on your side in case the market moves against Q.

Just to maximize the upside?
