Nick, One way to look at the Sandpiper acqiusition is that Sandpiper just IPO'ed 27 million shares at 28 1/4 per share.

<Sandpiper's shareholders will receive 1.07 shares of Digital Island for each Sandpiper share or a total of about 27 million shares of Digital Island. The merger is subject to approval by shareholders of both companies.>

If they had IPO'd through normal channels, would you be buying at 28 1/4?? Under normal circumstances, It would have opened much higher.. Maybe I am way off base with this but it seems like a steal even at 34. I'm am quickly becoming a believer..

Anybody eles with anything to add???
