Thanks GV - it sure implies that "this says something about the benefits of being an ALL INTEL House - as opposed to Compaq's - cheap-at-any-cost approach ?"

By the way - Compaq DOES lead DELL in the number of CEOs that have been FIRED - TWO (Pfeiffer & Canion) to Zero !

I guess all that effort to pump up AMD has led to some severe downturns both in Compaq's fortune and Compaq's CEOs fortune.

While Dell appears to be humming along smooothly !
