Yes it is.

You are a medical type. The plane was apparently at 43,000 feet, which would be about .21 ATM, so .21 X 20% O2 = 4% O2 partial pressure. I think that would kill a man pretty quick. Not to mention one not acclimated to height.

P.S. Well maybe you won't know. -g- Saw your spec to CO poisoning. That wouldn't happen. The lungs would still expell the CO2 load so no problem there. O2 starvation is the prob. Question is how fast it would hit them ... I think pretty darn fast - a couple minutes.
