Paul,

I like IBM as a vendor. And their machines are usually solid. However, Athlon just delivers more bang for teh applications I typical use as shown by teh NUMEROUS reviews on the net.

Sorry, you can only buy "plans" from DELL:
Dell also announced plans to offer Dell Precision WorkStations in the future based on the Intel 840 chipset.
