Hi Tom Cat The flare was at ELH. By itself it doesn't mean that much other than the well head is complete, gas flows, and crucial testing can begin. That is important. Cal Canal is drilling and no one suggested seeing a flare that I'm aware off. We may or may not see one while drilling progresses. However, S&P's report indicates drilling is going well and we may encounter porous sand soon. Hang in. Don't let the worriers scare you out of this one. Stakes are too high and prospects too good... IMHO and FWIW. Bob
