Steve - Re: "The 840 is NOT DESIGNED TO BE A DESKTOP CHIPSET. Therefore the RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION as you call it."

Now THERE YOU GO AGAIN !!!!!

Are YOU, Steve Porter, becoming the ONE MAN DEFINER of what can and cannot be used for chip sets?

Where in the spec benchmark definitions does it DICTATE that a DESKTOP chip set must be used ?

Yoy and your AMDroid buddies are wetting your pants today - Intel has surpassed th MIGHTY AMD AthWIPE and you guys have your knickers in knots - inventing every pea-brained excuse why Intel's superb Coppermine performance is suddenly "INVALID".

Enjoy your feeble excuses, Steve - enjoy them for a few more days.
