I nearly bought when I saw CPQ was at 2 just before the close. However, I stayed cool. Phew. Maybe it will hit 1 tomorrow.

C'pn: Closing Price $18 15/16 on Raging Bull. That is up 1/4. So how long at $18 + on heavy volume, creates a new base?

I have seen some postings on Yahoo quoting a commercial TA service to the effect that $18.25 was the long term base, not $20. If so it has successfuly tested that three times now. According to the same service the next support is about $17.25.

Anyway, irrespective of TA - the hard news this time tomorrow will determine the closing price on Wednesday.

BTW there is an early report that Instinet is showing an after hours ASK price of $20.
