CLARIFICATION OF QVC RUMOR:

Since Bloomberg recently added a profile for FHTV citing the QVC deal, I figured they may have gotten some kind of confirmation on it. Here's the Bloomberg link in case you missed it on the thread:

quote.bloomberg.com.

Figuring that Bloomberg may be a pretty reliable source, I called Bill Costello, head of IR at Comcast (Parent company for QVC) and asked him about the Bloomberg site and their claim about the deal in the works w/ FHTV. Here's a rundown of the conversation:

He told me that a few years ago, they were talking to FHTV. They had been in these talks for about 2 years when suddenly, the April Press release appeared out of nowhere. He said that at the time, it already looked doubtful that they would put anything together with FHTV, but when they saw that PR it destroyed ANY chance they ever would. He insisted on a retraction immediately and he told me that FHTV released a retraction a few days later.

I told him that since Bloomberg added the profile a few days ago with mention of the QVC deal, I thought it may be in the works again. He said absolutely not...and will call his PR department to look at the Bloomberg statement and seek a retraction from Bloomberg.

It has always been maintained that although FHTV retracted the QVC deal after the release, that it may have only been a premature release and the deal may still be on track for a later time. Investors are not basing their investment on a deal with QVC anyway, but from 'The Fax'.

REMEMBER...FHTV DOES NOT NEED QVC if the things contained in 'The Fax' are true. The very fact that QVC was in talks with FHTV for two years says a lot of positive things about FHTV.

I don't see this as a negative. For all we know...it could have been the most positive move for FHTV NOT to go with QVC depending on what the deal looked like...we will never know the particulars of it, but what we do know is that FHTV "dots all their i's and crosses their t's" and it does appear that something is up. I can only think that there were other more positive directions for FHTV to go in than a deal with QVC and believe that we will see them continue with their positive game plan as seen in 'The Fax' in the days ahead.
