I'd hate to have to play in the tournament with the emotional pain this week.

This was on today's thread of the Bill Meade list serve Gorilla Game digest. I have no comment about it, just wanted to relay that this discussion was brought up in terms of long term horizons for possible discontinuous innovations.

"BLDP - Ballard Power, proton exchange membrane fuel cells. Proprietary technology, impressive customer list. Way ahead of their time? I don't know. Anybody know anything about this? Discontinuous innovation, possibly?

Fuel Cells are not yet across the chasm. But if big corporate money Ford, Daimler et al has anything to do with it they will be in two years. And we are talking a monster market here - not just cars but home electricity."

Where have I been? Has anyone heard of fuel cells?

I followed Stewart around the Olympic Club last year for 3 days. He was as gracious in defeat as he was in winning his 3rd major this year. I think the knickers matched his style, which had its roots in the days when good sportsmanship was the key measure of an athlete and a man.
