Magic Michael - Re: "it performs WORSE than pcc133 sdram on MOST benchmarks I have seen , on a BX board..."

The 440BX is a 100 MHz SDRAM design - that is all it was designed for.

Re: "why pay 4 times as much for a solutions wich is only better in CERTAIN aspects (Bandwith!)...?"

If RAMBUS and 733 MHz Coppermines are the FASTEST at performing critical applications - which appears to be the case for MANY APPLICATIONS - MANY people will buy such systems.

Maybe your friends won't - and maybe you won't - but in the big scheme of things, that doesn't matter one twit.

You seem to think that the only thing people want is ATHLON fast - and not INTEL FAST.

Once again, your narrow minded view is wrong.

Paul

Magic Michael - Re: "but I rather believe real-live benchmarks compared in equal systems , equal settings "

Then you would get EQUAL results, now wouldn't YOU ??? !!!!
