UF, I lifted this off another thread and assume it has appeared on the Q thread, but I don't read that thread due to time constraints. How old is this news? BB --------- Current Oct. issue of San Diego Metropolitan (local business publication)features a full page color ad by Nokia describing their HUGE new 188,275 sq. ft. 3-story building on 10+ acres north of San Diego "...to be dedicated to the development of CDMA technology for cellular phones." Ad states the facility will be completed next Jan. and will consolidate & expand Nokia's current CDMA technology teams currently located around the world. On the opposite page is another full page Nokia ad advertising numerous engineering positions soon to be available at the facility. This ad asks for applicants "to help us[Nokia] drive the digital revolution forward..." Another big CDMA commitment by the #1 handset mfgr. As well, this appeared: An exert from ATT earnings release article. <AT&T's wireless rival Sprint PCS <PCS.N> added 720,000 new customers in third quarter, nearly three times the amount of subscribers AT&T added. >
