Hi Mike,

Don't want to go on about "off topic" subjects <grin> but that was a really fun game to see on Saturday. DKR Texas Memorial Stadium was rocking. Nothing good lasts forever, but it is sure nice to have taken the Huskers every time we have met them since the inception of the big 12. Now we will probably go get our butts kicked in Ames next week LOL.

Steve

Interesting chart on market bad breath, wow, look at that 1973 peak!
forbes.com

Forbes has a new columnist, Jeremy Grantham, who is a breadth of fresh air in his article Dow 3600, compared to the pabulum they usually hurl up on Forbes. In searching for his column I found an article about him from May'99 which sounds even better now with REITs beaten down even farther and Treasury yields higher:
forbes.com

Grantham explains why Glassman's book Dow 36,000 is rubbish and why he believes the market will revert to its mean around 3,600. Unfortunately they didn't see fit to post it on their web site.

They used to publish an infrequent column by Andrew Krieger who made some really good currency calls. Is Krieger publishing anywhere that anyone knows about?

For a good belly laugh read the editorial swill from their new publisher.
