ok, done with my chili...aren't you all glad this correspondence is via computer! <G> chili and watching this year's falcons can give one, uh, indigestion!

i didn't bring my notes home with me, but i think i put about everything in the synopsis....pretty much straight from my notes...man, i wish i knew short-hand!

anyway, i though noam and ed did a much better job of relaying the message this quarter....maybe because they had a better message to relay. I agree that ZUMA (nice possible ticker) sounds hot. i'll wait for sector to listen to the cc to confirm it. i like the fact that they set up ZUMA as a separate division that is a near-term spin off candidate.

there wasn't much i didn't like, with the exception of their unwillingness to address, in detail, the JNPR relationship with NAC. My understanding of the relationship is JNPR is selling one of MRV's products along with their routers (in tandem). maybe sector can provide details as to which product (i still get them all somewhat confused<g>).
i'm just patiently awaiting a new ceo for new access and further details about the house that will do the spinoff.

i mean, i can ramble for awhile, but the bottom line is very positive. we've got a very high tech communications company that actually has earnings, but is developing what appears to be leading edge routers that will "leap frog" foundry and extreme's products. THAT gives me goosebumps and hopefully will be recognized by new analysts for what it is. would really like to see warburg dillon reed and jp morgan pick up coverage...and, who knows who else might bring in coverage once the OA spinoff is announced. analysts really do like a clearer picture. speaking of which, i was happy to see them announce the separate revenue of OA.

let's see, marconi/bellsouth...on target and now not only purchasing optical, but data as well! and on, and on...

exciting!
