VIAD's stock price goes up on news that shares outstanding have increased 300% to help conceal the 96% increase in losses over prior year -- making loss per share smaller. The lagitimate good news is that VIAD's sales increased over 260% compared to the same quarter last year. If this trend continues it would indicate that sales are increasing at a greater rate than losses and VIAD could eventually become profitable. Other note worthy information: VIAD's short-term investments decreased by $9.5 million while cash increased by only $2.8 million as compared to last quarter.
