Recommended CD from the files of Lostdood: Shawn Colvin.."A Few Small Repairs"..I happened to pop this one on tonight. Haven't listened to it in quite a while, but at one time it stayed in the deck for about 6 months. It is one of my all-time favorite albums...Very introspective and somewhat dark in nature, the lyrics and music are equally outstanding..I think. You have to give it a few times through to really appreciate it, but once it's under your skin it's there for good...Several of the songs are instantly enjoyable, but the ones that haunt me are different in nature than the average hit. I think you'll really love this one (unless you don't care for female vocalists). BTW- She lives in Austin. Lostdood rates this CD 5 out of 5...NO SH*T! scale: 5=Revolver 1=Spice Girls World Paine Stewart..it is also very bizarre. I've never heard of such a thing..Have you?
