NBC's interview with Pete Rose last night was an absolute disgrace! The baseball sports fans selected him.....isn't it too bad that the interviewer/media doesn't agree....you people (media types) that want to dictate your own personal agenda/morals make me sick. As long as Major League Baseball, along with the NFL, will tolerate drug users and potential felons not to mention wife abusers, who are you to question the voice/spirit of America with regards to their decision to elect Mr. Pete Rose to the All Century Team by ambushing him on nation wide television. In keeping with the interviewer/networks editorial slant can we now expect an equally antagonistic interview with Major League baseball aka the NY Yankees with regards to Mr. D. Strawberry's drug abuse not to mention a pitcher that pitched for the Yankees a few seasons ago that was caught on the wrong side of drugs on at least 3 occasions. How about an interview with 'America's Most Wanted' football team???? I alluded to wife beating, the Red Sox had a member who was accused of spousal abuse, and they dealt with situation via a trade...... Could it be that because Mr. Rose is not responsible for millions of dollars of TV revenue you feel he is a safe target to attack so that you as a journalist/network/ceo can wrap yourselves around some self-serving code of ethics otherwise known as the first amendment/ratings. The Declaration of Independence starts out with 'We the people.....' 'We the people' have voted for 'Charlie Hustle'.... 'DEAL WITH IT'!!!
