Re:If you still don't understand, just think of the poor people out there who bought a Kryotech K6-3 early this year running at the astounding speed of 500 MHz! How do you think they feel about their glorified beer cooler now?

About the same as I feel about my first computer. A 16 Mhz 286 with 1 meg of memory and 40 meg hard drive. Opps almost forgot it had a 2400 modem. All for the low low price of $2000.00 13 inch monitor included.

Or the same as I fell about my current computer. A 200mmx with 32 megs of memory, 4 gig hard drive, 33600 modem, 17 inch monitor, Altec Lansing speakers with sub-woofer and a no name video card. All for the low low price of $2800.00

Moore's law should be called the bend over when you buy a PC law.

I am not saying I need a Kryotech machine. It is just a way to measure a benchmarks since Intel uses more expensive solution to out do an Althlon. I don't think it is fair to compare the performance of a race car if one has a newly paved race track (Intel) while the other one (AMD) has to race in a public road filled up pod holes.

With the money that would have spent on the best of the best, why not put the money in use and see which machine buy you money bangs for the buck. If I understand correctly, 25% increase will bring the 700 to 875mhz.

<If you still don't understand, just think of the poor people out there who bought a Kryotech..>

And for those who really do not understand a word,
those "poor" people will be able to upgrade to
newer processor, re-use the cooler, and stay
ALWAYS AHEAD!
