Oh Steven, I understand. I wrote that same thing to SIBOb- that her record should speak for itself and also the mitigating factors taken into consideration. I think you are right about the democracy, and truly, I don't think a democracy is a good idea! BUt it is also impossible for SI to police every thread and understand nuances and circumstances, and sometimes an uproar can cause them to look a little deeper. They were right- technically- in what they did. Coby knows that. Although this is not the place to discuss- or maybe it is- the rest of your post, I really would like to, because it reflects so much of what several of us feel lately.

I wonder if SI considers the track record of a member before meting out sentences. Sure they do! They ask themselves how will this affect the number of page views per day and how will that affect the bottom line. There has clearly been a double standard on SI in recent days.

<<<One more good reason to stay off SI for a while, which I've been doing anyway, and will continue to do for the forseeable future. I'm not sure if it's not what it used to be or I'm not what I used to be, but for whatever reason, I'd prefer to be elsewhere these days. it ? what is si, really ?
