LOL!...i read it just now! great idea the Austrian mechanic...we Austrians are well known for predicting the inevitable outcomes of unrestrained credit growth coupled with asset bubbles. did you know that Ludwig von Mises was offered a job as chief economist at Credit Anstalt in the summer of 1929 and refused, saying "i predict a great crash and do not want to be associated with it"? three years later Credit Anstalt was officially bankrupt and had to be nationalized... the road to retirement is great...i'm happy to be incorporated. feel free to make us of the Austrian mechanic as occasion demands... hb
