Here is a tid bit for the board... Remember IOM? How about "Son of Iomega" IMPX?

IMPX after hitting highs in the 15-16 area because of its relationship with the ALMIGHTY Iomega, has hit on hard times. Trading in the low 2's, tonights news release might make this a play once again...

IMP Announces Equity Investment Agreement
and Production Order

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 25, 1999--IMP, Inc.
(Nasdaq:IMPX) and Teamasia Semiconductors (India) Ltd. jointly announced
today that they have executed an agreement for the first phase of their alliance.
Under the agreement, Teamasia has agreed to purchase common stock from
IMP, which will represent 16.7 percent of IMP's outstanding shares after
issuance. Teamasia's purchase of shares is occurring in stages during the quarter
ending December 31, 1999.

Under the agreement announced today, Teamasia has also placed orders with
IMP to immediately begin manufacture of wafers for Teamasia's discrete
products. Subbarao Pinamaneni, managing director of Teamasia said, "In
forming a strategic alliance with IMP for design, sales and marketing, and
acquiring an equity stake in IMP, Teamasia firmly believes that its current
portfolio of discrete products can be expanded allowing it to emerge as a
leading supplier of analog products in India and Asia Pacific."

According to Zvi Grinfas, IMP's CEO, "The combination of equity investment
and wafer production orders provided by Teamasia will be the cornerstone of
IMP's recovery. I am looking forward to increased cooperation between the
two companies."

IMP and Teamasia are continuing discussions regarding a further equity
investment by Teamasia in IMP, in addition to that contemplated by the
agreement announced today.
