Tmann: Glad you are making some money with DISH. Were you "in" during the same stage that G* is now? You know, back when the market was not yet proven, back when the nay-sayers were out in force. They loved to say the market could not support even one carrier. (How many were there 5 years ago, 5 or 6?) They said Sat TV would never overtake the entrenched cable lobby. They said the build out of fiber would make sat transmission capacity pale in comparison. They said everyone who wanted the expanded capacity of Sat TV was already being supplied with cable. The rest of the people could not afford Sat TV. Need I go on? The market is there for G. The numbers are there for G. The profit margin is there for G* to allow them to adapt to a changing market place. DISH has been a winner - in 99. Take a look back a few years, it has not been that long.
