In honor of Bob, I'll report that Ed Salmon had trouble paying his federal income taxes a few years ago.

He had tax liens for over $100,000 reported in 1992. These were cleared in 1996.

In contrast to another person who had problems paying his taxes in approximately the same time span, Ed limited himself to using just one social security number in this affair.

I found all that in a Lexis search today.

Then I searched the St. Petersburg Florida newspaper on Nexis. There I found mentions of Edwin Salmon as a restaurant developer and a metal sculptor. I thought this was kind of curious. There's a good chance it's the same guy.

Well, I'll admit that these aren't the most exciting discoveries, but news has been slow lately.
