<Perhaps it is too much to ask for but if AMD can ship 750/800s in a few weeks in 0.18 micron technology - it will go a long way to boosting credibility for AMD as the speed leader.>

Agreed!

By the way, has anyone noticed that Anand talks about 1.65V for CuMine and not 1.6V. Can anyone confirm this? Is this pushing the limits here for Intel's 0.18? What do the process guys think?

That's pretty obvious. Intel circled the wagons and broke out the smoke and mirrors...

Re <<Intels 733 release. It seems to me that this was purely a BS release.>>

Lets say it was a stealth lauch as Paul likes to say. It sure was not what PB said it would be with VOLUME IN THE CHANNELS. Not even close.

Why are no Coppermine listed on PriceWatch. Are Coppermines that rare?

kash, you're right there are NO 733's available in i840 motherboards. Certainly DELL's "Business PC" with the i810e/733 combination will benchmark like a 600 MHz Athlon. But I'm waiting for a benchmark comparison with a CuMine 733 on VIA chipset vs. the Athlon 700. That should be real close.
