Once again they are burning gas at ELH-1R. They had a nice looking flare going this evening. Got a nifty photo of the rig all lit up, the flare blazing away, and the full moon,(nearly), in the background! Good luck, LHG

Morning All, it is with deep regret that I must inform you that Mr. Bob Christie, the the Energy Reporter and staff writer of the Bakersfield Californian, has been promoted to the position of editor. While we wish him well in his new endeavors, we will miss his informative articles on the subject which over the last year has grown so close to our hearts and ulcers. Good luck, Bob, you have been a trusty source and a friend. I hope you get to write one more glory blazing story on this topic before you hand over and that in your new position, you'll get to keep an eye on your successor, to make sure he informs us as well as you did.
