All points well taken. The only thing differences are that
this industry is 10X more competitive than it was back then
and CASCADE had over 3 years with which to deploy
their backbone equipment. Born only in Feb 98 or so, and
no fully operational product yet, ain't no one gonna deploy
anything of theirs in a backbone without at least a year
and a half of testing.

Thai, CSCC capped at 5-6 billion with strong sales, multiple customers and phenomenal growth. SCMR would have to do a 500 million + in sales in 2 years without going up a dime to be valued as highly as CSCC was. Even those guys are not that good. Brian
