<<Maybe I'm late to the game with this Godzilla, but if the numbers show continued sequential growth - I think that it
doesn't matter if I was late or not.>> one, just one slow up in growtn and it tanks like you can not believe---the sequential growth i predict will stall out this year and it will be all over for this obscenely, greed pumped suicidal valuation on EBAY---people who believe and buy on this growth obsession will know much pain at sometime --Max

Conference call notes:

$741M gross sales, vs. $622M last quarter
1.4M unique users a day
7.7M registered users
36.2M auctions during quarter, vs. 29.4M last quarter

Auction counts up 23 percent sequentially, but gross sales up only 19 percent. Meaning: sellers are getting less money for their items OR more auctions are going unsold.

Newest community members not as "productive" as established users. Translations: auctions are less successful for sellers, bringing in only about $20 per auction. This is down from about $40 per auction last year.

NO ANNOUNCEMENT of stock split.

Would NOT talk about their conversion rate!!! (It is getting much lower, as is evidenced by the average selling price per auction.)

Largest trading community in collectibles, computers, sports items, etc.

Launched 10 regional sites.

Very optimistic about eBay Germany and automobile category.
