Lee,

I watch the futures on the globex session. They have been trading right on the 10 EMA of the 30 minute chart all night. At around 2AM EST they crossed the 10 EMA to the upside but continued to trade along the moving average. At about 8:15AM the 10 EMA crossed the 50 EMA and immediately began to rally. I would say that the crossing of those averages factored into the break out, IMO. It has been straight up since then.
