In two years, the 700 MHz Pentiums will be obsolete. So will the SDRAM and the DDR, except for may be the <$500 PC's.

That is late 2001. Some of our earlier estimates may have been too conservative.

Two years ago, the top Pentium speed was about 300 MHz. I don't think you can buy one of those now.
