Let the sheeple buy INTC and MSFT. I am looking at adding some more gold. POG has hit support at 295. Bond rally has hit resistance. This stock rally will be over before it's started, IMO.

Wall Street is pulling out all stops to support their cash cow. Question is- do they still have the Fed on their side?

Mohan:

Well said. Both companies have zero (or possible negative) growth rate. Plus it will raise PE ratio for DOW components.

If both stocks cannot appreciate a lot every year, all the employee stock options are worthless. They will demand a raise or leave.

A couple of thoughts on DJI shuffle.

First, Expect BIG markups Friday afternoon on the new additions (esp. INTC, and MSFT) as buy on close orders for index funds are marked up, some of which gains will fade quickly on Monday-Tuesday.

Second, DJI will be harder to manipulate now because GT, S, and UK were favorites to mark up (on low volume) on big down days to keep the DJI average from tanking.

Mohan,

I agree. The tech sector should have been represented much earlier, like 5 years back.
