Gee, Ali, there are very strong chipset alternatives available from RCC, yet Micron is still considering the 840 because it is "fast as hell." Their thoughts directly contradict your tired old "2.5% performance gain" nonsense.

I repeat, Ali. Micron can choose between RCC's chipsets and Intel's 840 chipset for their high-end workstation and low-end server products. The advantage of the 840 is its performance, according to Micron. And you can bet that Micron is looking beyond Netscape and MS Office. Too bad you aren't.
