A lot of people buy DOW components because they pay good (relatively) dividends. Soft and intc pay almost nothing quarterly.

Mohan, there's more than $1 billion in DIA and I believe 3 of the 4 stocks being dropped were in the "Dogs" strategy, which has billions in unit trust money that will roll in about 2-months.
