Looks like the other part of the FGI announcement convinced everyone that the merger is going thru. HLX was selling for a ridiculous 11-12% below parity at the close yesterday and that has now been halved to approx 5-6%. Unfortunately, it happened as a result of FGI going down and HLX climbing a little rather than FGI steady and HLX jumping. Not sure why anyone thought the merger might not go thru. They always do. Shareholder democracy is essentially a farce.
