Hi Dave,

Nice digging. I saw the second one this morning for the first time.

I'm hoping Cisco will put up some information so a search on
VOFDM will yield something. Searching the word 'wireless' gives
results back to the 1996 Ericsson GSM data effort ;-)

Hi David and Peter:

Actually, the fundamental underpinnings of the
``V' part of CSCO/Clarity's VOFDM scheme
appeared in an article by. G. Raleigh and V. K. Jones
published this year in IEEE J. selected Areas
Communications. The system relies on multiple
transmitting and receiving antennas.
