Michael--I was just noticing CDW Corp recent action. Stock has about doubled since May. Sales up 50% in first nine months, EPS also up same %. I was wondering if, instead of a nuclear winter, we are just seeing a changing of the guard with Dell/Gateway and even CDW (who is making headway with its internet strategy) taking over from the likes of CPQ/IBM and other direct sellers. CDW seems to be doing quite well.

Speaking of football, I witnessed the OU and A&M game last Saturday. Have a son going to A&M. It was more than a little embarrassing having him sit with me. Boy do they get them brainwashed quickly at A&M. Never heard so many loud and scary cheers. He even had Sophomore privileges, which some unsuspecting student bestowed on him, adding to his cheer repertoire. The game really quieted him down, at least until some OU fan pointed out that he was being quiet. I knew they had school spirit there, but now I know the full extent of it.

It is good to have some semblance of football back at OU after a long dearth. There is a parity developing among schools that is very healthy for college football. I certainly will be paying a great deal of attention to the Texas/Texas A&M game. Those two schools will be extremely strong in the future, as they are now. They'll be even stronger. Just hoping that we can stay with them somehow. These Stoops brothers coaches we have at OU are good. I'm afraid that they might be too good. We should have them for awhile, however.

Again, thanks for your remarks.
