You are absolutely right, of course, but when it happens it's an incredible experience <g>. If you shoot low enough, you can be assured of making your goal, but we've elected to take on a greater challenge and risk the disappointment of falling short.

One of our threadmates made some moves that turned out to be costly, and was castigating himself over his ytd return of 50%! If he had been shooting to match the s&p500, he would have been "happier" but no richer.

Screening selections for "double possible stocks" helps create a strong portfolio; you'll be better off even if the double doesn't come to pass.
