Ron - Re: 'Could you please explain the main differences between the newly awaited Intel 820 chipset and the Pentium© III CPUs based on VIA's new Apollo Pro 133 chipset"

1. The Appolo Pro 133A Chips sets/boards ARE available - the i820 is NOT YET available.

2. The Appolo Pro 133A Chips sets/boards ARE bound to be cheaper - and use cheaper memory - PC133 vs RAMBUS.

3. The Appolo Pro 133A Chips sets/boards may be somewhat slower than the i820 - but that may not be noticeable to you.

4. The Appolo Pro 133A Chips sets/boards also allow use of NEC's Virtual Channel memory.

5. Check out COMPATABILITY issues -
