Curly,

You probably remember the last time CYMI was in the limelight, approx 2 years ago, before the Asian crisis hit. At that time Cymer was trading in a range of 50-60% of AMAT's price. I would argue, based on Cymer's current fundamentals, that we should return rather quickly to that trading range. This would argue for a current minimum price of $40+ per share.

Question for the mathematically-inclined: based on the BTB of 1.39, can we do a reasonableness test on Akins projection of 15-20% sequential increase in revenues? I highly suspect this is a lowball estimate. Look at last qtr's estimate of $.04-$.08 EPS for 3rd qtr. He wouldn't make a statement unless it was clearly "in the bag."

I will be interested to see what revisions the analysts come out with and how quickly their firms can get their largest clients in. I question whether they will be late and conservative with their initial revisions/estimates in order to build up inventory. Even though I'm a bit skeptical, I'm enjoying our current position.
