OT some analysts are getting opinions and analysis from boards they read. I think we could help the analysts (and ourselves) with an earnings guessing game. The only think that the old Dell game was missing was that there was no accountablility. If the posters guesses were recorded including how much over/under they were then a scaled number could be produced. (Kind of toss out anyone until they have made a minimun number of predictions, scale the remaining guesses by past performance, and multiply by a weighting factor of how consistant they have been). That could produce a whisper number that is actually usefull. TP (Who is suggesting, not volunteering, since I know I don't have the organizational skills necessary to pull it off).
