DoubleClick Exceeds 24 Terabytes of MTI Storage to Meet Exponential Growth of Internet
Advertising

MTI Announces the V-Series Enterprise Storage Network, Offering a Hybrid Of Network-Attached and Storage Area Network Fiber
Channel Storage Technologies

ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- MTI Technology Corp. (Nasdaq: MTIC), a leading manufacturer of enterprise storage
solutions for e-commerce businesses, announced that DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq: DCLK) has implemented a new hybrid storage
technology, doubling its data storage capacity. DoubleClick is now using in excess of 24TB of MTI storage to meet the exponential
growth of Internet advertising.

The hybrid technology is a new feature of MTI's V-series family of storage solutions and will support DoubleClick's rapidly growing
storage capacity demands for online advertising and reporting. This hybrid technology is the result of a new product offering from MTI
called File Services that can be combined with traditional Block Services to provide Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network-Attached
Storage (NAS) support. The MTI V-series is the first product of its kind to provide this combination of storage types in a single
enterprise Fibre Channel storage solution. The new system combines advanced technologies from MTI to allow file sharing on a
multitude of hosts coupled with support for traditional storage and data management operations.

DoubleClick, a leading provider of global Internet advertising solutions, has increased the number of ads it serves per month from 8
billion in March 1999 to a record 17.5 billion ads in September 1999. The company required a technology strategy that could rapidly
increase its capacity and speed the performance of its Internet advertising delivery and reporting systems across NT and UNIX operating
systems.

The advanced technology incorporated in the V-series is the cornerstone of DataServices from MTI, which features seven essential
storage management functions designed to deliver highly available, fully integrated SANs to the marketplace. Through DataServices,
DoubleClick can leverage the power of SANs and NAS in a single solution that offers comprehensive cross-platform compatibility
coupled with certified performance and interoperability.

"The exponential growth of our advertising delivery systems continues to push the limits of network, processing and storage
technologies," said Robert Linsky, DoubleClick's vice president of MIS and operations. "MTI's new hybrid storage solution has enabled
DoubleClick to continue to meet customer demand by employing new technology solutions which exploit the cutting edge of MTI's
storage technology infrastructure."

The V-series storage systems are designed to offer a full Fibre Channel solution for e-commerce businesses. This SAN/NAS combination
in a single solution addresses both direct connect and shared-file requirements that increasingly are required for high-availability,
high-performance transactions over the Internet. In addition, the new hybrid storage technology provides companies with a more
cost-effective storage infrastructure that is easier to manage and service.

"MTI has developed the hybrid technology approach to address the growing demands of e-commerce which is pushing the envelope of
storage technology," said Kevin J. Liebl, MTI's vice president of marketing. "The new V-series family of storage solutions provide
Internet-based companies the ability to leverage a complete, integrated solution across the enterprise. MTI's hybrid storage solution
enables companies to achieve more performance and capability out of a single storage solution."

V-series is a family of high-availability, end-to-end enterprise storage network solutions that are designed to support the demanding data
storage requirements of large corporate enterprises. V-series is the hardware foundation of MTI's DataServices strategy and provides
strategically integrated storage hardware and software that have been certified and tested to minimize challenges often encountered in
today's complex enterprise storage environments.
