Craig -
I was responding to the comments about size (revenue) vs. Market cap. I don't really think it is sensible to start comparing MSFT and DELL - one is the absolutely dominant player with no one in second place, the other is one of 5 major players in a market segment where product differentiation is hard to maintain and excellence of execution every day is the only guarantee to winning.

Even MSFT with a trailing P/E of 61 (comparable to DELL) is almost 4 times more expensive from a PEG standpoint... (MSFT PEG of 4.50 according to ZACKS for FY ending Jun 00).

Craig, MSFT is a little more than a screwdriver company. JMHO. I think MSFT will always be able to justify a higher pe than anyone that assembles parts.
